Terms of Service

Widemarket ("Company"/"we"/"us") runs and owns the games and website at widemarket.com, plus any related services (all together, the "Services"). Read these terms carefully. When you use the Services, you're accepting them. If you don't agree, don't use the Services or any of its content. These terms can change, and if you keep using the Services after we update them, that means you accept the new version. Any new features we add will follow these terms unless we say otherwise. Check back here once in a while to see if anything's changed.

GAMING & CONDUCT RULES

The Services are built around community, fairness, and having fun. So please follow the rules and enjoy yourself. This part covers how to create accounts, in-game features, and what's not allowed. User Accounts. You get one account per platform or device. We think you should stick with a single account across everything, but that's up to you. If you do create multiple accounts on different devices, they can't interact with each other in any way. We find that they've been interacting, and we can ban, reset, or penalize one or more of them. Virtual Goods Transfers & Account Sales. You can't sell, trade, or convert anything from the game (including in-game money and virtual items) into real money. Trying to do this breaks these terms and can get you permanently banned or lead to legal trouble. Once you buy virtual goods or currency, that's final—no refunds. None of it can be turned into actual money. We have the right to manage, change, or get rid of virtual currency and goods however we see fit, and we're not liable to you for that. You're responsible for everything charged to your account, whether it's you or someone else using it. If your account gets terminated or suspended for any reason, all your virtual stuff is gone. General Conduct & Prohibited Acts. Some things just aren't allowed. You can't: Use the Games if you're under 13. Pick a character name that disrespects other users. Use bots, auto-clickers, hacks, exploits, or anything else against our rules. Tell other users they're manipulating the market through any communication in the Games. That includes forums, comment walls, status messages, and chat. If you actually think someone's cheating and have real evidence, contact us directly through our form. Upload, post, email, or share anything on the Services that's unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, libelous, invasive of privacy, hateful, or racially or ethnically offensive. Same goes for anything that encourages crime, creates legal liability, breaks any law, or is otherwise objectionable. Post anything that violates someone else's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights. Share material you don't have the right to share. Post false information, misrepresent yourself, or mislead people in any way. Don't impersonate other users or our staff, and don't share anything that could harm minors. Mess with the Services (including security features), our servers, or connected networks. Don't break any rules, procedures, or policies of those networks, and don't probe, scan, test vulnerabilities, or bypass security measures. Break any local, state, national, or international law. Resell the content, use, or access to the Services. Do anything else that violates these terms. Action by Company. If you do any of the prohibited stuff above, we can delete your posts or threads (chat, forum, walls) and we can limit, block, suspend, or permanently terminate your account depending on how serious it is. We might take other steps too. Availability. We can change, pause, or shut down the Services anytime, for any reason, without warning. The Services might be down occasionally for maintenance or technical issues. We can add or update information and materials without notice. We can change and update the Games whenever we want or think we need to.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, OWNERSHIP AND CONTENT RULES

We take IP seriously and protect it. This section covers who owns what and how content works. Copyright and Trademark Information. The Services and everything in it belong to us and our licensors. Copyright law, trademark law, and other IP protections keep it safe from being copied or spread without permission. Our product names and logos are our trademarks. If you send us suggestions, comments, or feedback, we can use it in the Services or other products. You're saying that we don't have to keep it confidential, it's not your secret information, you have the right to share it with us, we can use, copy, share, license, and sell it however we want, and we don't owe you anything for it. Content. All the information, data, messages, and other stuff on the Services—whether public or private—is the responsibility of whoever posted it. We don't control it, so we can't promise it's accurate, trustworthy, or good quality. When you use the Services, you might see material that offends you or seems inappropriate. Partner Terms of Service. We follow the terms of service of our partners like Facebook, Apple, Google, and Android. You've read and agreed to follow the terms for whichever platform you're using to access our Services. Pay attention to their terms, because breaking them could get you banned.

LIABILITY AND RISK TERMS

We have to limit what we're responsible for in order to keep the Services running. Release. We don't watch or control what users do with each other, we can't control credit card companies or payment processors, we can't verify who users really are or how old they are, and we don't have much control over the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of the Services. Because of all that, you accept all the risk. You also release us, our officers, directors, shareholders, agents, employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, and partners from any claims, demands, or damages connected to your use of the Services or any third-party transactions. You give up any rights that laws might otherwise give you to limit what you release. DISCLAIMER. Everything provided through the Services is "as is." We don't represent, promise, or guarantee that the information and materials are correct, accurate, reliable, or complete. We don't promise that functions will work without interruption or errors, that we'll fix defects, or that the Services or servers are free of viruses or harmful stuff. We specifically disclaim all representations, warranties, and conditions, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, non-infringement, title, satisfactory quality, or fitness for a particular purpose. Anything you download or get through the Services is at your own risk, and you're solely responsible for any damage to your computer, data loss, or other problems from downloading or using it. We don't warrant, endorse, guarantee, or take responsibility for any content or materials on the Services, any products or services advertised by third parties, any services linked from the Services or featured in ads, and we're not a party to any transaction you make with a third party. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or any other damages. That includes damages from your use or inability to use the Services or its materials, the cost of replacement goods or services, errors or mistakes in the materials, property damage from your use of the Services, bugs or viruses, or any other loss or damage from your use of the Services. These limits apply even if we knew this damage might happen. They apply to the fullest extent permitted by law where you live. INDEMNIFICATION. You'll protect us and our affiliates, officers, agents, partners, and employees from all claims, threats, actions, proceedings, demands, damages, losses, obligations, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) made by anyone because of materials you submitted or shared through the Services, your violation of these terms, or your violation of anyone else's rights (including IP rights and rights of publicity, personality, or privacy).

GENERAL TERMS

Here's other important stuff and legal information you should know. Links to Third-Party Services. The Services might link to other websites we don't own or run. We're not responsible for their content. Those third-party services have their own terms, and you're responsible for reading and following them. Termination. We can immediately stop your access to the Services or parts of it without notice when we think we need to. That includes if you break these terms or another agreement with us, if law enforcement asks us to, if you ask us to, if we stop offering the Services or change it significantly, if we run into unexpected technical, security, or legal issues, or if you're involved in fraud or illegal activity. We can also delete materials you uploaded. We can terminate your access whenever we decide to, and we're not liable to you or anyone else for it. Once your account is terminated or canceled, you don't get a refund and you lose access to everything. Any termination is in addition to other rights we have. Security. Internet communication isn't secure, and we can't promise that anything sent to or from our website is safe or that third parties won't intercept your information. Updates. We can modify, pause, or shut down the Services or any part of it anytime, with or without notice. You agree we're not liable to you or anyone else for changes, pauses, or shutdowns. Entire Agreement. These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Rules and Policies make up the whole agreement about the Services. We can only change these Terms in writing if both of us sign off, or if we post a new version. Have questions about these Terms? Reach out through our website at widemarket.com.
